Yeah, I know it’s a bit last minute, but if you haven’t planned to do so already, get out to First Thursday tonight from 5pm-9pm. The Bachelor is over and Lost was last night, so you really don’t have an excuse. In addition, a local guy, family member and friend is going to be out with some really great artwork at Salon 162 in Bodo. Peter Schott, (no not the guy who makes great Prawns Juliano, but his son, the guy who makes great music and art) and Jeff Baker produce their work in a symbiotic trance playing off one another to create a totally original work.
I’ve had the opportunity to see it for myself and it is consistent with the originality and quality of work that Peter is know for. Come by tonight to meet Peter and Jeff from 5-9pm or swing by anytime this month and have Nancy give you a cut as you muse the creativity.
There’s plenty more to see so get down there and support our local artists and business, besides, it probably wouldn’t hurt you to get out and get a fresh breath of air.
