About
Hey there! My name is Aaron Catt; I’m a native of Idaho and the proud father of a 2.473 year old boy and a 3 week old girl and happily married. Some of you know the story some don’t, but either way, you’ll soon find that I love what I do and the people that I get to work for. This is my site and hopefully you’ll find it interesting and informative. Please feel free to leave me feedback, email me or get in touch somehow or another.
The intent of boiserealestate soup is to move away from the typical ‘reel-it-dur’ (actually pronounced Real-TOR) website that tries to mislead its readers about market conditions and showcase a box full of homes that eventually all look the same. I would rather move to a more refreshing commentary on Boise and it’s surroundings and the issues that impact us as Idahoans living in this region. You should notice a mix of topics and articles that appeal to me and hopefully you too…hence the name.
Don’t expect me however to forsake my career. I’m not a literary genius so forgive the dangling participles and the misuse if ‘their’ instead of ‘they’re’.
I have been able to take part in many of the things that make Idaho such a great place to live. From being able to enjoy all of the outdoor opportunities to now being involved in the the activities of a young family, I am lucky to live where I live and know the people that I know. I feel compelled to discuss and explore more than just Buyer and Seller issues and want to venture into the topics that affect us on a more personal level that is more situated around community. Not just a planned unit development type community, but the dinner table type.
After starting and operating my own contracting business in 2007, I got my real estate license in 2004 and was able to work as a buyers representative in one of the most competitive sellers market and help my clients acquire properties that were being inundated with multiple offers. This on the job training was invaluable and helped me understand how to effectively take the needs of my clients and turn them into a reality. Now that the market climate has so dramatically changed and buyers have more to choose from as well as being able to negotiate, I have learned the skills necessary to help couple the right kind of financing with the right kind of tactical offers.
Through the years I have been able to represent sellers as their primary source for marketing there home to 100% of the buyers in the market. I have learned and tested the techniques that are needed to get a home sold, not just listed. I am a firm believer in networking, shelf-placement and not overlooking the basics of the “5 Rights”.
I am also the founder and co-owner of Southern Idaho Management; A small property management company that serves the Treasure Valley. Having knowledge in the resale and rental markets gives me an overwhelming amount of value to my clients. With many people moving from the rental market to the resale market, having a finger on the pulse of each is important when analyzing the ‘real estate market’.
Over time, I hope that I have accumulated enough information on this site to totally remove this page. I will use every effort to be as transparent as possible and will always be honest in my commentary. My goal is that the articles written will have enough reflection of who I am that this page becomes unnecessary.
If you would like more of a ‘resume’ from me, please feel free to contact me for a copy of one.
If you would like to go skiing, fishing, hunting, rafting or whatever, well, if I can I will-just let me know!
